Employee in measurement technology for castings

Working hours:

Full-time / 35 hours

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed technical training (e.g. precision mechanic, foundry, machining or measurement technology)
  • Professional experience in measurement and testing technology, ideally in the foundry environment
  • Experience in 3D scanning/point cloud processing (e.g. PolyWorks) and handling CAD files is an advantage
  • Knowledge of geometric measurement technology, calibration of measuring equipment and measuring equipment management
  • Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing methods (e.g. visual inspection, ultrasound) is an advantage
  • Confident use of CAQ systems, ERP basics and MS Office
  • Good knowledge of German; knowledge of English is an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime and shifts, depending on production requirements
  • Ideally, experience with CMM and 3D measuring equipment
  • Interest in further training and development in the field of measurement technology and quality assurance

Your profile:

  • Measuring and testing cast parts with calipers, measuring machines and semi-automated gauges (dimensional accuracy, shape and position tolerances, wall thicknesses)
  • Calibration, maintenance and documentation of measuring instruments and measuring equipment
  • Creation and maintenance of test reports and test documents
  • Collaboration in complaint and error cause analyses (e.g. 8D report)
  • Collaboration with production, quality assurance and work preparation in the event of deviations
  • Participation in audits and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
