The company
Craftsman Fronberg Guss GmbH, formerly Fronberg Guss, based in Schwandorf (Bavaria), is one of Germany's leading iron foundries in the field of hand-moulded large castings. With many years of experience, technical expertise and the highest level of vertical integration, we offer customised solutions for castings in the weight range from 100 kilograms to 15 tonnes.
Our services cover the entire process chain: from technical advice and foundry-ready engineering to prototype development and series production. In this way, we ensure that every component precisely fulfils our customers' requirements - efficiently, to a high standard and on time.
Thanks to our qualified and dedicated employees, we produce up to 11,000 tonnes of cast parts every year and currently generate an annual turnover of around 30 million euros.
Since 2024, we have been a member of the internationally active Craftsman Automation Group from India. The merger opens up new opportunities in global collaboration, technology transfer and access to new markets - while at the same time strengthening our local roots and our manufacturing expertise in Schwandorf.
